The Cats Guide To Grief

For Gemma

I have just lost my 17 year old darling princess gemma kitten. I know she had a good long life but it still hurts when I need a hug. I miss her so much it is untrue, to many she was just a shabby cat to me she was the most devine wise creature on earth and it was an honour to have been chosen as her life long friend. Well it feels like I've known her all my life for I am only 23 myself so I can't really remember life without her.

My darling you were loyal to the very end
how I enjoyed your friendship over the years
you were my one true friend
how I miss your comforting purrs...
I will never forget you my darling gemma,
sleep well my darling,
until we meet again sweetheart,
R.I.P.
your everloving friend,

Kelly Alexander.
