Fenris, Undercover Agent

By Freddie the WonderCat

Fenris the SmallCat is our undercover agent. She convinces humans that she's feral (unless she wants her ears scratching) and is as comfortable sleeping on a compost heap as on a boxful of essential tools.

Catnip award for feline excellence Shortly after Frogge moved WonderCat Central to Dowbridge she went on a mission to ascertain the level of Democracy in the area and report her findings to the Camel Corps. She did not return as planned.

We feared her lost!

The Over-Wyre Insurgents have been fighting a desperate rear guard action to stall the advance from Presall, and we feared that they had infiltrated Fylde with undercover HitCats. We had a suspect White and Ginger Tom, but he was no match for the hissing of Frogge and our stalwart human neighbour Albert.

Still, the SmallCat did not return.

Frogge put pictures and notices in the local shop We ventured far and wide, yeah even unto the geese at No 96. Five months later, the SmallCat could not be found.

We were rapidly losing hope.

Then the call came - Fenris had been seen. She had frightened the living daylights out of the new occupant of Frogge's old house. We sent Frogge out armed with a cat basket and gardening gloves, knowing that Fenris could be a bit tetchy prior to debrief and not wishing our human to suffer too much bringing her back from the cold.

I can't report a lot yet, as she has not been fully debriefed , but I can say that she suffered more than a little. She no longer has the fine upstanding ears that she used to, but she went out for the cause and managed to fight her way back to the first friendly household that she knew.

Fenris the SmallCat has been awarded the WonderCat Medal of Honour in recognition of her devotion to Democracy and the Kirkham Camel Corps have recommended her for the Athena Cross 2nd Class for her heroic actions

Welcome back Fenris the SmallCat
